ANDEAN WARAK’A WORKSHOP
The wave is a tool made with different types of fibers (animal and vegetable); it was mainly originated as a weapon to help in the defense and protection against any threat, because of that it had an extensive use in herding and in war conflicts. The use of the Warak’a continued to evolve and adopted ceremonial functions, which originated changes in color, texture and designs.
